| After the untimely and tragic death of our
Inflight’s Hepburn Sandyhill (dam of our 1996 US
Grand Victrix), left us with no producing brood bitch, we
were offered the chance by Sid Riley, to lease his
Andretti daughter, “Red”. We jumped at the
chance, as not only was she a perfect blending of
pedigree that would match our bloodlines, but her
physical attributes were perfect for who we intended on
breeding her to, our Inflight’s Fly So Free.
“Red” is an upper medium sized, substancial
bodied bitch with a beautiful, thick and plushy, dark
sable coat. She has proven to be a very easy maintainer.
Her movement is very fluid, with tremendous forehand and
nice rear quarter follow-through. She has incredibly
large ears and typical of her parentage, she could be a
bit tighter in the back and overline. However, bred to
“Ace”, these faults were corrected and the
litter these two produced, in our opinion, was EXTREMELY
deep in quality. The first litter produced 6 puppies, 4
bitches, 2 dogs. All of the bitches have gone to either
show or breeding homes. “Red’s” daughter, Inflight’s
Jamie Lee Curtis won her large Futurity
class and recently, in her first time out in American
bred, garnered a 4pt Major Reserve. Inflight’s
Just a Jezzabelle placed 3rd in her
futurity class and is now getting ready for adult
competition. Inflight’s
Jubilee v Chablis, winner of many classes
and a Best Puppy, will be bred soon and the repeat
sister, Inflight’s Katmandu has a Reserve from the
puppy classes. We feel very lucky to have been able to
lease a bitch of this quality and because of the fact we
liked her so well, we negotiated with Sid to obtain a
co-ownership in her. Thank you Sid, for letting us share
this great bitch. From her progeny shown in 1996, "Red" was eligible to be in the Presitious GSDCA RED BOOK, A priviledge open to the year's Top Producing animals. "Red" "has been verified by the recent AKC DNA testing to be have DNA consistant to being an Andretti Daughter. |
